Does anyone know who might be running the Allstars Thunder Thru The Plains tour besides the regular allstars?

I've heard Allard, maybe McCarl, anyone know of anyone else?

Thanks!

Thunder Thru The Plains Schedule:

7-29 Red River Valley

7-30 to 8-1 Husets

8-4 Butler County Motorplex (Rising City, NE)

8-5 Belleville High Banks

8-6 to 8-7 I-55

8-9 Southern Iowa

Just curious as to how many might run the entire TTTP tour.

Thunder Through the Plains has been before the Nationals for the last year or two (maybe three?). When Bert started this tour with the All Stars it was after.

Nope. Just $5000 to win per the All Star Circuit website.

Maybe this is why the Allstars are a nonfactor at the Nats., they wear their stuff out before they get there. Maybe this is the way president GW tries to get back at KVille for being shunned. Blunder thru the Plains use to be and still should be after the Nats.!

It shouldn't even be called "Thunder Through the Plains" as it is nowhere close to what it use to be when it started. Always took my vacation time the week after the Nationals and always made each show. Good stuff it was...

Funny how the phrase "was", as in past tense, always comes up when talking about the ASCOC.

The only thing I can say in defense of the ASCoC on the supposed "downfall" of the Thunder Through the Plains tour is this:

The original tour was a co-sanctioned deal with the NCRA. At one point the partnership grew enough that the NCRA co-sanctioned some of the shows back here in Ohio and other places. Now that the NCRA doesn't sanction 410s anymore, it's left up to the All Stars alone to carry the banner for the Thunder.

I'm not saying it's the NCRA's fault that the Thunder isn't what it used to be. I have to wonder if the All Stars, given the circumstances, might be better off with the schedule after the Nationals? Or maybe surrounding it since they "co-sanction" the Ironman 55 and "sanction" the FRC? JMO.
