Who is your pick for the next big sprint car superstar in 410 racing? We have several young guns winning 410 races this year such as David Gravel, Cap Henry, Kyle Larson, Zack Zimmerley, Brent Marks, Aaron Ott and more.
My vote goes to Kyle Larson. He has three GSC wins this year and a few more 360 wins at Ocean. He also made the A main at the Chili Bowl.
Who is your pick and what other drivers should be mentioned?

Kyle Larson hands down is the best young driver in a 410 or 360 period!

Shane Golobic
In his only 2 410 starts finished 7th with Golden State & 6th non wing with
SCRA. In Larsons 2 Oceans wins he was 3rd & 2nd (starting 15th). In the
last week won for the first time at Placerville & Petaluma & in his only midget start
since the Chili Bowl where he finished 3rd on prelim night, finished 2nd with BCRA.
Up to this point I give Larson slight advantage over him and Zimmerley.

After seeing Zach Zimmerly at the Dirt Cup, I'd say he has to be at the top of the list.

Kyle Larson with-out a question is the top young gun IMO he can drive the wheels off anything he gets into. Real would love to see him race at the Nationals this yr. so everyone could get a real look at this great talent! Zach Zimmerly is right behind him and Cody Darrah when he gets back. Saw him race at the Trophy Cup and he had some bad luck go his way, but definitely know he's for real and can't wait for him to get back to the Trophy Cup this. He's entered under Bud Kaedings car for the race this yr.
Trophy Cup......Best race of the year hands down!

As a Knoxville-ite that hasn't seen the mentioned drivers in person ....(but I do read press releases and other news here, on some other sites and NSSN.)
I would have to say that the Zimmerly kid might be a BIG star of the future.
I think I read he is the youngest GSC winner in history and he finished 2nd three straight nights at the recent Dirt Cup.... (that is sorta like the NW version of the Nats I've read) that impressed the HELL out of me.
Time will tell .... all must be really good ....I just vote for Zimmerly.

Kyle Larson may be good, but he is running against much. Agreed, would love to see him at Nationals this year to see what he really can do against a strong field.
Hmm, it's really close though, my vote goes to Conley, slightly over Gravel and Larson.

Well lets see......TK, Allard, BK, and Bud Kaeding aren't chicken liver. Also he ran really well at the Chili Bowl...A main against the best in the business. Plus he ran damn well in a inferior car last yr. at the Gold Cup(a-main). Plus he can wheel a non-wing 410 with the best of them. Conley is good, but has much more to spend and I don't ever remember him winning the English Creek Nationals. I could be wrong. Anyway's all the above mentioned are great talents in their own right, but to say you like to see him run against the best.....well he's already done that with over a 100 cars there(Gold Cup).

I was very impressed with David Gravel when he came and ran Knoxville once this year. People were asking ."Who is that kid in the 89"?

Don't forget guys these drivers Larson and Zimmerly have been racing bullring tracks and when they do end up in the east they will have to go through the learning curve of bigger and different types of tracks.. I do agree that Larson 17 years of age and Zimmerly 15 could very well be the best i have ever seen out HERE of anyone when they were at that age.. At this point in time i would say Larson over Zimmerly.. We better enjoy them now because they will be gone from here sooner rather than later.. Larson has already stated he would like to end up in Nascar or IRL, if not then sprint cars in PA. where he can run at least 3 times a week.. I think Zimmerly has raced a couple times in the east as has Golobic..
