Does anyone have any info about this race? I know it is an OCRS race but I couldn't find anything about it. Is there extra money added to the sprint car purse or any other classes?
Can I change my name to ModifiedFanRob?

Do people race for money lol.

I'm sure they have the payout list on the OCRS website.
Or maybe a phone number that can be reached to get the info.

Also the link to OSP in Ada

It's shaping up to be one of the biggest, if not the biggest, 2 bbl race of the year IMO.

SprintCarFanRob - Going to the Harold Leep Jr Memorial race so you can add yet another track in Oklahoma to criticise!

Should he be told now that it's going to be a dry-slick track?

It is tough, hot, hard on tires, and high speed.Usually turns out to be dry-slick, (can't remember when it wasn't)--but it will be sincere, and they will be dogging for that trophy. Count on that.
The racing is good everywhere else too. But the sense in the air has been that this is where the best 2-barrell combinations come together for one night, and square off eye to eye, focused on one thing-1st.
The Oklahoma lineage of this class, the history, and being a small part of it, makes me proud to be involved.

I have been there several times and the racing was pretty good, I have never seen any type of sprint car show there though so if I can swing it I think that is where I will be! Sounds like it will be a hell of a show!
cheese21 - If you don't know who I am, you let my nephew sit in your car last weekend in Lawton, and I wanted to say thank you, it is over due now I know, but you made a fan that night. There is now a 4 year old little boy in New Mexico that thinks you are the greatest race car driver on the planet, so again thank you so much. He doesn't come up here alot so I wanted to make that trip special for him and you made that happen!

I kind of figured that was you. He was a cool little guy, and you could really tell that he loved the races. I remember how I used to look up to the drivers, so I always like to have little ones come around and want to get in the car. I will say that we are lucky around here though, as far as drivers in the area that enjoy having younger fans who come around and ask for autographs or if they can get in the car.

We have 8 vintage cars solid for the count as of now, better than last year.
Last year, I posted who all said they would be there, and then many didn't show up. Won't do that this time. Burn puppy once, puppy avoid fire.
If you have a vintage car and could help us out, please bring it.
We're gonna do this regardless. If I don't push it, it'll pull me through.

Well it's been a journey, and here we are.
You winged gunslingers, we'll be watching to see who has the charm. Be safe, kind to the kiddos, and drive clean.
Good luck.
