Is there any sprint car racing going on in Phoenix, AZ or the surrounding area this weekend? I show Canyon is closed for the weekend as well as USA Raceway.

A lot of us sprint car hard core guy's are going to Yavapai Downs for this kick *** show during the day Saturday http://www.amaproracing.com/ft/events/event.cfm?eid=2010021010 ...And that night, and with a two buck discount with the stub from the AMA race, we're going here,http://www.pvraceway.com/ and it's right on the same property!
The National AMA flat trackers are going to be racing on a big one mile in the valley just below me. Is that cool or what!!

Kenny, Thanks for the information. I don't get into Phoenix in time to go to the AMA race but I will defiantly rent a car and drive up for the race that night. Thanks again. The flat track bikes would be awesome. Those guys have some big ones!

I'm not sure how many cars will be there with the Challenge Cup group, but you can go on Robbie's site http://www.abcmotorsports.com/ on both the Sprint car forum, and the Challenge cup forum on the message board, and see what you can find out. I looked, but maybe if you asked?
They'll be having a 2 day open comp show on the 4th of July weekend, and last year the open comp shows were great.
