The MARS DIRTcar Series is preparing for an invastion of the Heartland as it visits the Outlaw Motor Speedway in Muskogee, OK on Friday April 23rd.

5-time and defending MARS Champion Terry Phillips of Springfield, MO will lead the martians into battle with the areas top late model teams expected to be in attendance. Other drivers expected for this weekend include current point leader for the MARS series Eric Turner of Springfield, MO; Last year's feature winner at the Outlaw Jeremy Payne of Springfield, MO; Brandon McCormick of Lebanon, MO; Rylan Long of Lockwood, MO; Gary Christian of Broken Bow, OK; Kelly Boen of Henderson, CO; Brad Looney of Republic, MO; Darrell Mooneyham of Verona,MO; Al Purkey of Coffeyville, KS and many more.

Sozo, I will be definately be there Friday night, mother nature willing. I usually sit in the first section right before you get to the flagstand, right near or at the top. What is intriguing is that Boen is listed as coming down for this. Boen and Phillips '10 style - love it.

This race will just wet the whistle for the MARS/NCRA races in two weeks.

Yeah that is surprising Boen coming down,although he used to come down real offen to run with the MLRA.If it LOOKS rainy I will probably just stay home.Son has a track meet at Broken Bow friday evening so he won't get to go.Will have to look you up and say hey if I make it up.

From the way it sounds he's driving for the 33X team again like he did for the TMS race. He's driving for someone other than his #07 anyways
