Thanks Warren,....I am sure there are others that deserve it more than I that may never be inducted. Most Hall of Fame committee selections are made from names nominated by fans and require accompaning information to support the nomination. If that is not done, they never get nominated.
It was a nice banquet and I did get to see some friends in racing that I had not seen for many years. There was a 15 minute video made of an interview of each inductee. It is scheduled to be on youtube soon. Thanks....Luther

With his accomplishments Luther should be in the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame. I sent an e-mail to them about a month ago nominating him. I have not had any response. The 2010 class has already been announced, if everybody on this site would send an e-mail suggesting that Luther should be considered for the class of 2011, maybe it will happen.

Luther,
I could go on and on about why you should be in all Hall of Fames in the sport, but I am certain this isn't the last time you will be inducted into one.
Congratulations Captain. You are a living Legend.

Kudos on your being named to the Hall of Fame. Well deserved for a true legend of the sport. Best part is that it is not a memorial presentation, and that you are able to enjoy being recognized.
