I'm going to take that as a sign.
Throughout this entire ordeal so much has happened, and the central focus has been on the speedway itself. Yet the "soul" of the speedway truly comes from the people that worked, lived and died for it in some cases---along with those that choose to carry on--
Which means you
Whatever truly happens, you are a racing family whether you are divided or not. It goes beyond money and power, and lies somewhere in what we may call the 'imaginary', but sense is very real somewhere else. You decide for yourself what that is.
The 'real' that I see is that it brought all walks of life into one accord, and for the desire to see it continue, 'set aside their real world differences'- even if it created new ones. Yet being a vital part of the balance and maintaining that balance between right and wrong. Another element of keeping order.
This old card game will likely end up somewhere else, you can bet on that. Sprint cars, stock cars and modifieds will roll again somewhere in the metroplex area, people will argue over the rules, and some goober like me will try to bring in old cars just for the hell of it.
What happened here in the last couple of months has set the stage for what comes next, and those that fought the battle of saving the Fairgrounds track may have done everyone else a favor. Time will tell, but there certain things human nature does not abide by.
