NCRA officials have announced that three of their modified divisions will have name changes effective immediately.
O'Reilly/NCRA modified north division: This is what has run in the Kansas area and the longest tenured modified division with NCRA.
O'Reilly/NCRA modified south division: This is formally known as the Oklahoma modified division which we debuted last year.
O'Reilly/NCRA southern modifieds: This is formally known as the sport mod region which was debuted last year.
This will also help those of us who do press releases and also make it easier to present to potential series and contingency sponsors and for you drivers to present it to your potential sponsors instead of trying to explain the difference in modifieds and Oklahoma modifieds - which isn't all that much difference except for the tires.
Also, I am up to a total of sixteen contingency sponsors for the modified north, modified south and southern modified divisions and about four more are pending them deciding exactly what they are going to do. If your interested in climbing aboard as contingency sponsor, a cash presenting sponsor or even a heat race sponsor for any or all divisions of NCRA (sprint car and late model included if your interested), please email me at [email protected].
Remember the first race for NCRA, which is their 40th anniversary season, is next weekend (February 12-13) at Cowtown Speedway in Kennedale, Texas with the O'Reilly/NCRA modified north division. If your wanting to climb aboard with that division then let me know so we can make sure to have your contingency down and so that we can have your decal ready to hand out to the drivers. It would also be a perfect time for anybody interested in being a presenting sponsor or even official heat race, Hard Charger and/or rookie of the year sponsor.
Thank you for your time.
