Many have asked why I move the photo sections up to the top every-once and awhile above the most current threads? These sections are an addition to the main site www.racingfromthepast.com because the bandwidth is used up on the main site I use the forum . It's a lot easier to use the forum. ANYBODY, I mean anybody (hint hint to all of those that have said Oh I have photos for the site and are never heard from again) can post their own photos here also. I will be 56 this month and I have learned all of it Albeit I started in 95. All it takes is a scanner or photos already on a CD. It takes a little practice but it is not difficult. You can even name a section for your collection. Example Midgets of the 70's, Racing at a certain track, Hobby stocks from Oklahoma or John Q Public's Collection etc. I will move it up also every-once and awhile too. Please lets keep it to pre 90's, but that is not set in stone.
Some have complained about the same photo on the forum, I can't understand why, Jon is still at it and one of my favorites. Rotating the photo would be a good idea but it would cause Big-dog who owns the site more trouble and I don't want to bother anyone. Maybe I need to put my logo and a photo. The logo would let everyone know it is associated with the main site.
Everyday there is new viewers visit the site and keeping the photos section at the top every-once and awhile lets those viewers see more photos that you contribute. I'm sorry I have not got all the photos on the forum combined into there section.
