Wonderful.
Trivia question for those under 50 years of age: What was the bicycle (or motorcycle) chain used for? Too easy for old codgers.

I'm under fifty, but my ole man back in the early 70s had an old 57 chevy hobby stocker and I remember either a bicycle or motorcycle chain that was used to steer the car cause the seat and the steering wheel was moved to the center of the inside of the car.

I would've answered but hadn't been back on.
Yes, my dad was one of the last in Oklahoma to change from center steer driving. Center steer late model, that was cool.

At just before 4 mins in the 14 is Marc Madison and the 53 is Ronnie Redmon. They raced around the Dallas area in the 70s and 80s.

First of all THANKS Brian26 for posting that video. Takes me back to my youth when my Dad ran hobby stocks in Arizona. God I loved those cars and that time in my life, couldn't wait for Saturday afternoon to go to the track!!
I also knew the answer to Mike's trivia question (altough I'm rapidly sneaking up on the 50 mark). Chain steering, white t-shirts and white pants for "driver suits" lots of '55, '56 '57 model Chevrolets. Heck, we even had a convertible or two! Those were the days!!!
