Ok I am going try not to pull a Uncle A here. Although, we have talked and have shared many of the same thoughts. That is kinda of scary there lol. He and I are of the same thought process, even scarier, although he is a little gruff and I am more of kill them with the same words that are not so harsh.

I can not believe some of you. You seem to have given up and thrown in the towel on the fairgrounds. I do admit times seem bleak and some have thought that dark clouds have formed over the track. I can attest that there are folks working their a**es off trying to save this track. If anyone as look at my quote on my signature then you know where I stand. I tend to tell the kids that I teach if you get everything easy then you are going to let it go away easily as well b/c you have no stake in whatever you got.

I am not trying to make anyone upset or making anyone mad at me. But, folks stand up for something you believe in instead of getting beat down like a wet dog. Let the powers that be know that you will be battling till the very end. Sure we lost a battle but this is a war. Wars are not won in a single victory they are won in many little battles.

Do not let them get the best of you. That is what the powers to be want. Is you to divert your attention from the fairgrounds to another track rather it is here there or wherever. They want the attention to focus away from the grandstand that way they can do what ever they want. I can say that the city thought they could pull a fast one on the racing community with the quick announcement of the closing. They city never thought we would stand up like we did. They thought we would lie down and take it.

This is one thing I took pride in as I was talking to people in the beginning of this issue was that the racing community would fight tooth and nail till the very end for what they believe in. I know there are some that I feel are doing what I thought and others that are just saying what is the use.

If I made anyone upset or I offended anyone I am sorry. I am upset at the attitude of we are beaten lets tuck our tails and run.

Very well put Erich, you may very well leave the being an Ass up to me. I have no problem with it as I say what I think (beverages or not). I too are more than a little disappointed that some of the key people have not stepped forward, like Track Champions, many long time Racers/Crew Members, and Fans.

Folks this is the time to step up. You should have already done so. Like Erich said, I cannot believe so many of you are lying down and saying we QUIT. I will remember that the next time we compete, I will have the advantage on our team. I can honestly say "Hey we are racing against a bunch of QUITTERS, so let's take home the victory"

I have personally obtained more than 500 signatures as of date for the effort. What have you done to help. I'm not bragging, but with a little effort you can do the same. I was surprised that most did not know that the Grandstand was going to be demolished.

I went outside the Racing community and most people I spoke with said they do not want to see the Race Track go away.

I will stop here before it gets ugly.

Many of us have gone quiet, but we're still here.

I do know the cycle will come back around again. I don't think it's over yet.

I know you are here Brian. You have been there from the beginning.

WOW... Do you guys really want to know how people feel posting stuff like this sure will. I am not beat down like a dog I have my own thoughts and feelings. 2010 season is gone at SFS and I do believe everybody feels the same way as well as you guys. Who knows what the future will hold but are we all suppose to wait and put our want to go and watch and participate in racing on hold ? If so you are sadly mistaken, Somebody needs to come up with a new plan to rally the troops because this is not working.

I am trying my best not to unload and tell you how I really feel as allot of others are trying to do as well.
