Come on people !! The strength in numbers is so important ! I attended 2 days of the Shootout, in the pits and grandstands.

There was some buzz about the fate of the speedway, although every body says " yea it sucks, but it's a DONE DEAL" I myself don't want to believe that yet.

I never seen a petition anywhere all weekend. Not saying it was not there, just never seen it. We must step up and get greater signatures.

By no means is this a dis. to you guys that are trying and putting effort into saving the speedway, just a call out for more people to do the same.

and yes i know, I was not caring a clip board around, but we need to unite more in in this effort !

I do know there were a couple of people up in Wichita for their auction and trade show Saturday.

They were suppose to be up there. I will double check on that.

Some of us were up at the Kansas acution this past weekend. I was not there I was In Dallas. NO OSU JOKES lol. Anyhow I was told that there was 500 signatures that got recorded in Whicita. I have the petition waiting to be sent out in a email for anyone that wants it. Just shoot me your contact info and I will send it to everyone that wants it.

Yes we do more numbers and more people with petition. I have sent at least 6 to 7 people petitions. The people that it has been sent out to said that they will get it to places. I know there are sitting some in a business that is very racer friendly. The oklahoma Gazette contacted me today about a story on the grnadstands.

IT is not a done deal. I am not given up and neither should anyone else. Now that the holidays are over the city council is thinking everyone will go back to their jobs and forget about this. Keep the pressure up and send those emails and phone calls coming. We are going to have t-shirts ready for sell by the end of the week, we also will have stickers ava too. There will be people at the Chili Bowl and the racers auction on the 23rd.

The paper petitions we have have been aprroved by legal counsel. So they would stand up in a court of law. I know Rhillbers has a few of the petitons himself.

In your defense, it did seem quiet there for a minute or two. I am supposed to get some out myself, yet my own printer is down, so copying them from an email won't work for me right now.

Could someone mail a few copies to me? I will pay postage.
