found on the shop floor................

Some came from hard times,

some from the silver spoon,

towbars to trailers,

just to pay their dues,

dealers , sportsmen,

and lads with a need to prove,

and make the noise with all the boys on May Avenue.

Halibrand magnesium,

next to a stolen spare,

wheel to wheel in combat,

had to get their share,

one more chance at glory,

and maybe the racin' news,

to make it known that they had shone on May Avenue.

Cloud of dust goes skyward,

bright lights shinin' down,

several dozen cowboys,

looked to make their rounds,

one trip to the window,

and into the night they flew,

and one week more, they were looking for, May Avenue,

Ya know it's always been there,

hoped it always would,

every generation,

wants to do some good,

sacrificed the easy life,

til their time was through,

so they could say they had their day, on May Avenue.

so...God bless the boys who made the noise......................on May Avenue.

Brain I am going to put that on the website if you do not mind.

It is fine Sir. Keep up the great work.
