I would send this one to the email address, but I know you have people checking in here on occassion to see how the natives are holding up.
Sir, the issue is not only about racing, but along the lines of how the campain for MAPS3 was carried out. Ordinarily we are sleepy and we do miss the many twists and turns that power takes in order to acheive its goals.
This time it was very shady to say the least. It turns out there was never a mention of the speedway in the Sunday Oklahoman article last spring when it was announced that there was a new convention center in the works.
Then we hear more about the ADA suit, which is now looking like a sham too.
After the ORA meeting last week, I'm certain you know what went on there, you proceed to scare away the promoter ---under the assumption that the local racers would blame Lanny Edwards instead of catching on to your practices.
Also, it has been noted time and again that you or your representatives have stated the speedway would be here forever, yet between you and the promoter, it was known 2012 was the last year. Yet, when it was known MAPS3 passed, 30% turnout-not 100%, and it was known the racers were unhappy, you proceeded to make your move 2 years early, and prove that you will lie again to get what you need in order to please the weight you are under.
You sir, are just a front, a tool, for many others and the payoff is down the line, isn't it?
Across May avenue, there is a homeless shelter of some sort, and I'm certain that has already been brought quietly into the equation as well. Don't want any bleeding hearts screwing things up?
