I'd just like to throw this out there. I'm sure that Mark has already thought of it, but IMO he needs to run all of the SFS classes at his track next year if the fairgrounds is shut down. However, he needs to change the super rules to ASCS. For the guys that don't have ASCS motors (like me) the super motor will be very competitive at Meeker. Again I was just thinking about all of this. Just because the fairgrounds might be shut down doesn't mean that we can't still have great racing around here.

Thats true and if he does end up with Enid even if we set empty a year and he gets it for the next one I for one would love to see him run them classes up here also.

Well Brandon, It's probably to late to run Supers anywhere next season IMO. Everybody is already building their car for rules that have been published for 2010. Dont get me wrong but remember what all was posted about Supers going to ASCS rules? I love the supers but if I had a super now I would already be trying to change it over to ASCS or OCRS or sell it. IMO I dont see anybody running the Supers anymore, Lanny even dropped them at Devils Bowl.

Would Meeker be able to accomodate larger car counts in there pit area? I know that would depend on how large of an increase in cars, but I was thinking about all the sprint car big rigs. It would fun to see ASCS sprinter run Meeker. I saw the NCRA Late Model show there and really enjoyed it.

He already picked up the Pro Stocks, the Supers {as of right now} are the step child. But I for one aint givin up yet on SFS and I dont think anybody else should either, we could still have a season or two left if we can come up with a solution. Lets get some FACTS on that electrical issue next week and see what we can do.

My dad and I weren't going to run Supers this year anyway. We saw this coming so we started gearing up for ASCS. I will be able to get some heads but the rest of the motor is looking iffy because of $$$. Anyway, I was pointing out that Super motors would be competitive against ASCS at Meeker so if he picked up anything he should just pick up ASCS instead of Supers. And possibly run on Friday nights?

Brandon "IF" SFS isnt runnin I sure hope the Sprint car fans have a place to go watch injected motor run somewhere. OKC has always been a Sprint car town and that hangs alot of fans out to dry. But Mark wont pick up a Fri. show in my opinion because of track prep as well as his fans will probably only attend one nite a week. If the devels bowl isnt runnin this class maybe Mr. Gould in Ardmore would run them if he could get car count from down south as well as up north. He has the parking for big riggs and very little wall to crash into plus he is one of the top promoters in the state in my opinion. Just a thought!
