Brian that it is too cool, and thanks Shane for the awsome memories. Here is me and Jackie on the Stage at Fairgrounds Speedway.
I'm the goofey kid on the left with the Indy 500 hat!!!! The other kids name was Alan.

I'm the goofey kid on the left with the Indy 500 hat!!!! The other kids name was Alan.

then you would remember this Allen, we gave Howerton a "goin away night" at the races. Dad presented Jackie with the "good luck" rief....I'm sure you and I thought he was on his way to winnin the Indy 500. 1 problem, he was too good of a fabricator, they wanted him to build, not race....

Yes I do remember that Friday night, it brought tears to my Ten year old eyes to see Jackie moving on.
But I quickly found a new favourite in Harold Leep. My brother Ric was always a favourite of Benny "WA-HOO" Taylor
The best part of it is.....I can call Harold Sr. or Benny today and they will be there.
I truly miss Mrs. Mary and Mr. Bud Carson.....I'm just thankful to have known such great people.
