Shane Stewart took home the top prize over several of the best sprint cars in the midwest. Stewart topped Terry McCarl, Danny Smith, Johnny Herrera, Tony Bruce Jr, Jim Moughan, Randy Hannigan, AJ Bruns, Kaley Gharst, Ricky Logan, Craing Mintz to name a few.
Rain fell through the heat races and the dash making for a very fast race track. The track really slicked off during the feature but fans were still able to see three wide racing on the high banked 1/4 mile.
McCarl lead the feature for 30 plus laps before Stewart was able to get by on a restart. Stewart worked the low side and high side to take the win. Stewart was only a few inches off of the turn four wall before taking the checkers.
Great racing tonight at Morgan County Raceway.

Special thanks to all the fans and teams who came out and supported us on a cold, windy, rainy night. But on the bright side, the cold, and drizzle contributed to a wickedly fast track, as evidenced by both Danny Smith and Terry Mc Carl dipping into the nine (!) second bracket in time trials.
Racecar spelled backwards is racecar. Racecar upside
down is expensive.

Great job Paul and Shane!!! Using an engine that Paul and a buddy of his put together in his garage using old parts gathered up from other racers that were updating their engines

not every post is negative and stupid, the one i wrote about my uncle getting beat up at the nationals 2 years ago by some driver was all factual information. granted it mysteriously dissappeared like any other post about one certian driver. forgive me if i have an axe to grind.

its just a shame that someone is such a talented driver but has other people covering his tracks.

wonder why Skip Jackson and Moughan didn't come down to Farmington?
45 cars was still a good car count though

From my view point I didnt see Shane get into Terry on the restart. Shane did a slide job on him and after that he checked out. Shane was wicked fast all weekend. Started 12th and won and then Farmington, started 13th finished 4th.

I agree or run a true "Outlaw" schedule like when he drove the 4m car. I know him and Silva do that now but not nearly as many races. I completely understand though it takes alot of money to do that and I wish Shane and Silva the best of luck. It was great that they were at both Jacksonville and Farmington. Both nights Shane had the crowd on their feet as he charged torwards the front. Combine both starting spots, 12th and 13th equals 25. 1st at Jacksonville and 4th at Farmington equals 5. Passed 20 TOP NOTCH cars bewteen both nights! Now that's gettin it done!!!!!!
