I checked with his crew and said he had a deep laceration on his neck and was going to have a catscan (sp?). Rescue crew member was also talking to a crewman and said the reason it took so long to get him out was because they were taking every precaution. Crew was really shook up at first. Hunt actually was awake and stood up for a moment before being placed on a stretcher. Crew said he would be OK.

That had to be one of the most destructive wrecks I've seen in long time. Glad everybody is ok.

Looked like from across the way, that the motor was sitting and steaming about 15 feet ahead of the car. Very scary.

I'm clueless--where and when did this happen? Sure hope all involved are OK. Thanks for any additional info.

From what I heard and saw Steve was having chest pains and not looking so good while in the pits quite a while after the races. The ambulance came back and took him in. I don't know anything else but I know they read this board so if they want aything else said I'm sure they will.

Sounds like wares was hit with a bout of karma. Next time you should just tell your driver that you want someone else to drive your car instead of saying to motor parts didn't come in. Oh wait a minute, I guess you needed to old drivers parts to do that also. Last time your other driver had a front row start, he won. Hope you get well soon.

Ok, look...this topic was not meant to become a bashing session of anyone. The important thing here is to hope for everyone to be healthy.

Steve was doing fine when we left the Pella hospital and was in good spirits. EKG came back clean. Wishing karma on someone else's health is no way to be. Just remember, karma may come back and bite you....

I watched the videos of last weeks race but did not see the Glen Hunt crash. It must have been edited or the cam missed it.
