It could be a little chilly after 9 pm. Day time about mid 80's. Expect a wet to start track but dry slick around the second heat. 11:30 pm Monday it's 52 degrees. Maybe a light sweat shirt about 9pm. We just finish a big heat wave could had been 105 last Saturday there.
See you there!

The weather looks like it's gonna be damn near perfect! Low to mid 80's in the day, low to mid 50's at night. No forecast of rain(that bad four letter word) just a few clouds. I'll take a sweatshirt any day over heat.(i've been there when it's been around 100, and it's miserable) Can't wait till Thursday night gets here........
SUPPORT WILDLIFE, go to a sprint car race!

It's 63 degrees this am, even in SF. Wonder if the fog will ever show? It's been a week without the fog now. The longest warm wave this year.

Well it was 92 today and looking at the web cam along the Cliff House S.F. highway one. There is no fog yet. No FOG at Bodega Bay. If this keeps up be track will have dry spots in hot laps.
Man I was hoping for cooler weather.

Heat wave broken? It's 51 this am on Friday. They are saying 81 as the high on Saturday 79 on Sunday. Just what I wanted. Fog should be coming in tonight.

Yes, Calistoga racing has never been fog out! I'm saying cooler weather for the fans and track! (wine tasting weather) Fog along the coast line this am. Petaluma will be or should be ICE cool! So bring some warm clothing! Would you rather have 80 or 100 degree weather? So the weekend at 80 should be the best for everyone! I do have a poor crop of cool weather tomatoes! It been cold this season.

I love it! It's 74 degrees at 6:30pm. The cooling fog which hardly makes it way to Calistogs is 7 miles west of Santa Rosa! We are going to have a great time, a little breeze from the north west! Just what this fan ordered! Not to hot, not to cold! Should be high sixties by 9pm.

Up here in Sonoma and Napa Valley's it's really called Mother's Nature Air Conditioning! It"s free and it works on the heat cycle! Mostly 3 or 4 days of (HOT). Boy, didn't that fog make Ascot! what it was?
It's 1:11 ready to leave for the track. It's 83 and a 7 mph wind out of the Southwest. The fog never made to Santa Rosa last night but you could see it west just over the Coastal Range. Not happy about 7mph wind! 47% humidity. Hey, so I'm back Home in Indiana.

Walt & Mike called me from the track this afternoon.
They say it is beautiful up there.
Weather is perfect.
They will call this evening with updates.
I'll post some results when I get home from the Orange show speedway, unless someone beats me to it.

Well my guess the temp was 82 an cloud cover, wind 7 to 20 at times just to see the FLAG! After they brushed off the soft stuff. The hard pan clay didn't have any water! Can't blame the weather! One thing very bad, no push trucks to mash down the marbles! Someone could have been HURT! Strange no race cars even tried it either! Like Keading, and the Shoe!
