The last couple of years I believe that J&J has been the chassis of the year, I am assuming mostly because of Schatz. I will have to say this year it appears the most wins by a chassis manufacturer could be Maxim. Don't own either, so I really don't care. Just curious.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

Is Schatz's car a J&J? Or is it a J&J Maxim copy? They make both from what I hear.

It seems like there are a lot more Maxim's out there, so they should get more wins. It is a good car. I think J & J's cars have excellent workmanship from those that I have seen up close. It would be interesting to see how those did across the country. I think the good drivers and good teams could win in any of them. Maxim must be doing something right as far as sales, service, etc. to sell so many cars. Some of the chassis builders are just as good but don't choose to be as big, such as Wolfweld, Schnee and some others. Different overhead and business approach for some. Here's Knoxville's top point guys. how about PA. and CA.or other tracks

410 cars top 10

Herrera- Maxim, Brown-Maxim, McCarl-Maxim, Zomer-J&J, Droud-?, Jackson-J&J

Madsen-KPC, Jeffery-J&J, Alley-JEI, Dobmeier-J&J

360 top 5

Garner-Schnee, Cornell-Maxim, Roberts-Maxim, Moore-Eagle, Selvage-Eagle

Maxims are Nice, I see a lot of New ART Chassis. Jon Allard had One at The Mini Gold Cup, Kyle Larson I believe had One now runs an Eagle.

J&J has taken pride in not being a cookie cutter company for years. Read old Open Wheel (still my sprint car bible) articles about chassis from 20 years ago and up... whatever configuration you want, they build.

Look at them today... with side hoops, without side hoops, "Big Max" looking cage, regular cage, etc. Rahmer's J&J looks nothing like Schatz' J&J.

Kudos to them. Tough not to give them the nod for chassis of the year when they win the big races and win coast-to-coast in so many different sanctioning bodies.

Probably is between J&J & Maxim as far as car of choice.

In future years the XXX cars will continue to gain momentum. The car reportedly gets better every year, and a growing number of drivers swear by them.

Does it seem like the Eagle has declined? Wonder why?

Also wonder how JEI is doing.

Someone mentioned KPC's earlier. Roger Crockett has alot of wins in one of those chassis this year. Not sure of the total but quite a few. Even one in a non winged race.
