Timing issues arose when Warren attempted his initial laps and continued though a couple of other racers after him causing a slight delay.

Lane Automotive Heat Race (10 Laps) Top-4 Transfer.
1. Scotty Neitzel [3]; 2. Billy Balog [5]; 3. Wayne Johnson [6]; 4. Todd Daun [4]; 5. Phillip Mock [8]; 6. Jereme Schroeder [9]; DNF-7. Ryan Irwin [7]; DNF-8. Craig Lager [2]. DNS-Nick Alden, DNS-Andy Hunt.

Alden was unable to fire during push-off-he would have started on the Pole. Irwin loops it out of turn 2 and through the infield on the initial start. Neitzel leads Balog, Johnson, and Daun on the restart. Lager smacks the wall out of turn 2 down the backstretch and stalls with at least a flat right rear. He was pushed pit side. Irwin busts out and other spin on the 4th lap and is sent pit side. Daun had looked to the low line of turns 1-2 for the 3rd spot on the restart as Johnson holds using the high line out of turn 2.

Diversified Machine Inc. Heat Race
1. Steve Meyer [1]; 2. Mike Reinke [6]; 3. Billy Warren [3]; 4. Billy Hafemann [4]; 5. Dave Uttech [2]; 6. Michael Dubs [8]; 7. Darrell Dodd [7]; 8. Adam Miller [9]; 9. Adam Schroeder [10]; DNF-Tommy Sexton [5].

Uttech makes a quick duck-into the work area after push-off surrendering the choice starting spot for the tail. Meyer takes the lead over Hafemann, Reinke, Warren, Dubs and Dodd. Reinke takes the 2nd spot on the 2nd lap out of turn 2. Warren and Hafemann swap the 3rd spot for the next couple of laps. Sexton had just burst into the 4th spot using the high line through turns 1-2 only to suffer a mechanical issue on the 8th lap out of turn 4 forcing him pit side. Meyer had just about caught the tail end of the field by the Checkers as Warren steals back the 3rd spot out of turn 4 down to the line.

Wesmar Racing Heat Race
1. Scott Uttech [1]; 2. Bill Wirth [2]; 3. Brian Kristan [4]; 4. Kris Spitz [6]; 5. Todd Hepfner [5]; 6. Russel Borland [9]; 7. Joe Symoens [3]; 8. Scott Biertzer [7]; 9. Mark Wernes Jr. [8]; DNF-10. Dave Boyd [10].

Wirth takes the lead over Uttech, Spitz, Kristan, Hepfner as Symoens and Biertzer make light contact through turns 3-4 on the opening lap. Boyd had ducked pit side way early in the deal. Kristan takes the 3rd spot from Spitz on the 3rd lap out of turn 2. The Yellow is out on the 6th lap after Biertzer busts a 360 spin out of turn 2. Wirth and Uttech with an excellent race for the lead and the win down to the Checkers, Uttech wins by inches.

Joie of Seating Heat Race
1. Mike Kertscher [6]; 2. John Haeni [3]; 3. Patrick Haynes [1]; 4. Donny Goeden [5]; 5. Kirk Fehrman [9]; 6. Jimmy Sivia [8]; 7. Scott Lenz [2]; DNF-8. Daniel VanDerVere [10]; DNF-9. Jeff Ferkin [7]; DNF-10. Ricky Logan [4].

Haynes takes the lead over Lenz, Kertscher and Haeni. One the 2nd lap, VanDerVere gets crossed-up through turns 1-2, but was able to keep it righted and fired. Haynes and Lenz had a decent battle for the lead swapping through turns 1-2 when contact (?) between Kertscher and Logan sent Logan into a nasty series of end-over-ends through turn 3 and off the racing surface finally landing in the work area on the 3rd lap. He was Ok, but done for the night. Kertscher takes the 3rd spot on the restart through turns 1-2 and the 2nd spot through turns 3-4. Haeni into the 2nd spot by the 5th lap when Ferkin gets crossed-up through turns 1-2 and was able to save it. VanDerVere was pit side by this juncture. The Yellow is out on the 8th lap after Ferkin was not as lucky this go-round and stalls in turns 1-2. He was able to restart, but the front wing is askew. Lenz climbs the left rear of Sivia in turn 3 on the restart sending both spinning out. Both area able to restart. Kertscher takes the lead using the low line of turns 1-2 from Haynes as Haeni makes another at the line finish by inches for the 2nd spot at the Checkers.

First Behling Racing Products B Feature (12 Laps) Top-3 Transfer.
1. Joe Symoens [2]; 2. Dave Uttech [3]; 3. Darrell Dodd [5]; 4. Jeff Ferkin [6]; 5. Adam Miller [9]; 6. Kirk Fehrman [10]; 7. Jimmy Sivia [8]; 8. Nick Alden [4]; 9. Daniel VanDerVere [12]; DNF-Michael Dubs [7]; DNF-Tommy Sexton [1].

Sexton with the lead over Symoens, Uttech and Dodd for about a lap when he slows and ducks into the work area and certainly not for a lack of effort by the crew, is done for the night. Symoens inherits the lead over Uttech, Dodd, Alden, Ferkin and Miller. Uttech and Symoens swap that lead down the backstretch on the restart. Dubs smacks the turn 2 wall and burst his right rear and ducks off the track in turn 3 done for the night. The Yellow is out on the 6th lap after Alden busts a 360 spin and stalls through turns 3-4. VanDerVere checked up and stalls as well. Uttech leads Symoens, Dodd, Ferkin, Miller and Fehrman to the restart. Ferkin takes the 3rd spot using the low line within a lap of the restart, but Dodd powers back around. Symoens retakes the lead and the win on the final lap out of turn 4.

Second Behling Racing Products B Feature (12 Laps) Top-3 Transfer.
1. Todd Hepfner [1]; 2. Scott Biertzer [5]; 3. Phillip Mock [6]; 4. Russel Borland [9]; 5. Jereme Schroeder [8]; 6. Mark Wernes Jr. [7]; 7. Andy Hunt [10]; 8. Craig Lager [2]; DNF-9. Scott Lenz [3]; DNF-10. Ryan Irwin [4]; DNF-11. Dave Boyd [11]. Adam Schroeder (?).

Borland required a second push. Hepfner into the immediate lead and was clearly the class of the field. Lenz, Biertzer, Irwin, Mock and Lager follow. Biertzer takes the 2nd spot on the 3rd lap as Irwin moved into contention on the 7th lap taking the transfer spot for a moment into turn 3 using the low line. One lap later, contact out of turn 2 with Lenz continued down the frontstretch for Irwin ending with both cars colliding-sending shrapnel from blown tires into the stands and Lenz to collide with Dick Symoens’ custom made ‘Gizmo’ vehicle in the infield. The Red was thrown to assure all involved were safe. No immediate injures reported. Mock received the 3rd spot for the restart behind Hepfner and Biertzer. Borland lines-up 4th, Schroeder, Wernes and Lager to the restart. Borland makes his bid for the transfer on that restart low through turns 3-4 as Mock retakes the spot through turns 1-2.

A Feature (30 Laps)
1. Todd Daun [4]; 2. Billy Balog [6]; 3. Wayne Johnson [10]; 4. John Haeni [16]; 5. Steve Meyer [2]; 6. Scott Uttech [1]; 7. Todd Hepfner [11]; 8. Donny Goeden [5]; 9. Mike Reinke [9]; 10. Scott Biertzer [20]; 11. Brian Kristan [13]; 12. Billy Warren [14]; 13. Kris Spitz [8]; 14. Bill Wirth [17]; 15. Darrell Dodd [21]; 16. Joe Symoens [15]; 17. Phillip Mock [22]; DNF-18. Mike Kertscher [7]; DNF-19. Scotty Neitzel [3]; DNF-20. Dave Uttech [19]; DNF-21. Billy Hafemann [12]; DNF-22. Patrick Haynes [18].
Alternate: Jeff Ferkin.
Lap leaders: Steve Meyer; Todd Daun; Billy Balog (?)

Meyer with the initial lead over S. Uttech, Daun, Neitzel, Balog and Goeden. Daun takes the 2nd spot out of turn 2 on the 2nd lap. The Red is out on the 3rd lap after Haynes gets upside down on the backstretch. He was Ok, but done for the night. D. Uttech with a piece of that action and ducks into the work area for some duck tape on the top wing side board. Meyer leads Daun, S. Uttech, Balog, Neitzel, Goeden, Johnson, Kertscher, Hepfner and Reinke to the restart. Balog takes the 3rd spot within a lap of that restart. Daun takes the lead around the 5th lap at the stripe. Balog takes the 2nd spot from Meyer through turns 1-2 around the 9th lap. Daun catches the tail end of the field around the 10th lap. Yellow is out on the 15th lap as Hafemann was not parked far enough inward of the infield. Daun leads Balog, Neitzel, Meyer, Johnson, S. Uttech, Goeden, Haeni (from 16th) and Hepfner to the restart. Balog makes his bid for the lead around the 17th lap through turns 3-4 as Johnson has quickly moved into the 3rd spot out of turns 2. D. Uttech calls it a night around the 23rd lap. Daun catches the tail end of the field around the 24th lap and nearly loses the lead drifting high through turns 1-2 as Balog ducks underneath. Daun saved it and retakes the lead entering turn 3. Johnson smacks the wall hard on the 26th lap without missing a beat. The Yellow is out on the 27th lap after Neitzel stalls in turn 3 suffering another devastating visit into the work area in as many races costing him valuable season points. He attempts to salvage the night, but does not re-fire. Kertscher calls it a night as well with Jacobs Ladder issues under that final caution. Johnson and Balog swap the 2nd spot with two-to-go securing the win for Daun. Amazing crowd scene finish from about 7th through 11th as they crossed the line damn near three abreast-two rows deep. Excellent run by 2002 Champ, Haeni (currently 3rd in season points) garnering some bonus Hard Charger money provided by local businesses. Daun busts a celebratory wheelie down the backstretch and was almost at a loss for words in Victory Lane after being crowned King of the Kenosha County Fair race for his 3rd career IRA A Feature win.

Track looked better before the "prep Crew" touched it they just made it worse the more they dumped water on it. Kertcher drove right over Logan, must have bad eyesite?

Kertcher definately caused that one, unfortunately he got away clean without any damage. His turn will come where somebody will pay back.
