Just something I thought I would share with you all. I was really bummed when Cody wrecked in his heat ending his what would have been a great night after setting fast time. When my Dad and I went to the pits afterwards we got a lot of autographs and like to make a little small talk with the drivers. When we got to Cody's pit my Dad approched first and asked for his card with an autograph and Cody smiles and says you bet. Cody looks at me and asks "would you like an autograph sir." Geez, he called me sir. I'm only 38 years old. I smiled and said yes please. I told him sorry about his night and good luck with the rest of the nationals. He answers with a smile, " thanks that's the way it goes sometimes." I told him thanks and my Dad and I were off to the next pit area.

What I'm getting at here is what a nice, pleasant, respective young man Cody is. He was not bummed at all. He was upbeat and positive and I forgot to mention he was great to the 2 little kids in line before us. What a talented young man not only on the track but off the track as well. Thanks Cody. Good luck with your racing career (hopefully always in sprint cars if not that's ok) and we'll always be rooting for you. Thanks again.

Back in april i went to eldora for the second nite of the world of outlaws race I had seen that cody and the 89 team was going to be there so me and a friend went. I got to there hauler and ask one of the team member if i could get a tshirt and they invited me into there hauler. Got to speak with the crew chief i think his name is steve such or something like that. Real nice plus cody has a nice tshirt. First time i have seen him race. Going to be a good racer. There was a rumor that he is going to be going to kasey kahn to run for kasey and a third outlaw team. I would like to see that.

much like how Craig Dollansky was taken out by Hall in the A-Main on Wednesday while contending for the lead. After the races while I was talking to Craig, various fans came up and Craig signed autographs and asked the little kids if they had a good time. You could obviously see the disgust on his face but he put that behind him and signed autographs.

Craig and Darrah are class acts in this aspect... I know there are a couple drivers at the top of the Outlaw standings that would jet outta the racetrack if they got wrecked in the A-preliminary at the Nationals.

He's come a long way from the steering wheel throwing, spark plug wire removing days from earlier this year. The kid's definitely got talent in the seat of a racecar.

And what this kid at 19 has been doing to raise money for other cause just because of what he is.

Selling hand prints on a car he is to run for a 9 year and under baseball team I think over $3000.00 was raised so far

Over $5000.00 for breast cancer was raised at the Kasey kahne race from his car. they actually auctioned kiss Cody chances

Ive watched Cody and team 89 in Florida for last few years, this year brought a T-shirt from the truck and what a real friendly team they all are, on the saturday at volusia cody was winning the a-main comfortably untill a split oil line wrecked that used all his tear offs and wrecked the visor he pulled in and lost the race real shame, but after the racing he was out talking to fans and again was real upbeat and positive and " said you watch us tommorow!" top man Cody and good luck in your racing i will be pulling 4 you next Feb.!

Cody Darrah and Cale Conley are a couple of young shoes that have both been impressive lately.
