KS--- June 9, 2009) Come see the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series
presented by K&N Filters invade West Memphis, AR for the “Rock
& Roll 50.”The 4th of July will be full of fireworks at the Riverside Speedway for the first time in four years.The best of the best in 360 racing will be on hand for the extravaganza.
Two
full nights of racing will be concluded with a 50 lap finale and
fireworks display on Saturday night. That’s right, 50 laps of intense
racing, with the winner taking home a custom Gibson Guitar as the
trophy.
Both nights of competition will be taped for broadcast on the VERSUS Network, with airdates of August 8th for the July 3rd event and September 20th for the July 4th finale.
The
ASCS National tour has traveled to the Riverside Speedway 24 different
times from 1995 to 2005; with Lucas Oil on board, they are ready to
return to the famed track in hopes for a spectacular 4th of
July weekend. Since the ASCS National Tour’s last trip to Riverside
Speedway the facilities have undergone major improvements, making
events more enjoyable for the fans.
The
“Rock & Roll 50” has teamed up with Bumpus Harley Davidson for
pre-race activities. There will be a car show and drivers meet and
greet on Thursday July 2nd from 1:00-6:00 pm. There will
also be special $5 off coupons for event tickets to anyone riding into
the facility; in addition, there will also be reserved bike parking for
all riders.

Also joining the show will be the local Riverside Stock class and the winged 600cc Micro Sprints.
