Hello,
I contacted SMS promoter Chris Kearns with your question and here is his response:
Not sure what the USAC/CRA rule is, but as far as I am concerned, as long as it is 95 db @ 100ft, I am good.
Here is how my muffler rule reads:
95 Db @ 100 feet. NO TOLERANCE. If you do not meet this requirement at any time of the night, you will not be allowed to race. NO EXCEPTIONS -------------------------------------- Hope this helps,
