A huge weekend of racing, as well as a look at the past is in store this weekend at Knoxville. It all starts with Friday Night's action in the 8th Annual Iowa Telecom/Pepsi Midget Nationals and Masters Classic. Over twenty drivers are signed in already for the race for drivers age 50 and over, including former champions Mike Peters and Randy Smith, as well as Sammy Swindell. The Masters will again pay $3,000 to the winner. The King Doodlebug Classic for the midgets will run Friday night, with Saturday's events including the Pepsi USAC Knoxville Midget Nationals, and the 410 sprints Knoxville Championship Cup showdown. Throw in the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum's 20th Annual Induction Banquet Saturday afternoon, and its going to be a full weekend, indeed!
