Hagerstown and Lincoln track records are now 10 years old. The 1z is running awfully good right now for a scrub and still several tenths off of Mopar's record at Hagerstown. The bits and pieces left of Dodge still seem to be superior to all the polished chevys. I just don't know how Joey overcomes such a handicap. LOL. Is there anyone in the country right now with more wins than Mr Saldana? Its hard to tell what some Fords might accomplish if someone had the balls to get out of their comfy cloned boat.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

everyone wants tire and wing rules and rules to make the racing more "competitive". so you end up getting what you get.

Pretty sure Roger Crockett has won more than Joey this year, but I'm not sure what kind of engine he runs.?

I think that todays engines DO definitely have more HP than 10 years ago. But you might notice that on a night when a track record is set, the racing is not that good because passing becomes difficult. I think that the promoters are realizing this, and their track prep is being adjusted to promote passing, not just raw speed. This makes HP less relavent.
