An extra $500 has been added to this Saturday's Bandit Series purse at the Chris & Brian Faria Memorial in Tulare.
The payoff will be $1,250 to win, $900 for second and $750 for third.
With USAC/CRA being off again this weekend hopefully we'll pick up a few cars looking to tune-up for the May 30th race.

Someone with athority should post the rules that will cover the non wing group for this weekend. I am hearing alot of diffrent options from down that way. Some do not make it sound fair for everyone.

I'm not sure if this helps, but here is the Bandit Sprints Press Release:
BANDIT SPRINTS RETURN TO TULARE SATURDAY MAY 11, 2009 --- The Bandit Sprint Car Series is set to return to the Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare for the Brian & Chris Faria Memorial this Saturday May 16th.
The long running series saw past champions Danny Sheridan and Peter Murphy duel to the finish line with Sheridan taking the win in the last visit to Tulare. Davey Pombo is on a roll after winning last weekend's event and the Bandit/VRA Grand slam in Bakersfield.
A reminder to all competitors, The muffler rule is 95dba at 100'. ASCS motors may compete without gasket or 2 3/16ths restrictor. All other combinations require either the unaltered ASCS gasket or 2 3/16ths restrictor. All other rules including tire rule are in effect.
Current Bandit Points are: 1. Peter Murphy 93 2. Davey Pombo 81 3. Rusty Carlile 77 4. Albert Pombo 75 5. Jonathan Logan 71 5. Kevin Barnes 71 5. Ricky Kirkbride 71 8. Davey Knott 69 9. T.J. Smith 66 10. Rick Eberhardt 63

DON'T CHANGE THE RULES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SEASON , JUST TO RUN 4 MORE BANDIT RACES . WHEN THERE IS STILL 15 PLUS WCS RACES LEFT , ALSO I DON'T LIKE THE GASKET'S EITHER .
