A boy on my sons baseball team got hit by a truck last night while crossing the road. He isn't doing very well and it doesnt look good. So i am asking if all of you guys could pull together like we always do when someone is in need and pray for the family. Thank you.

Darn I hate to hear anything like this!!! My thought and prayers go out the boy and his family.
If you could send me his name so all the boys on my ball team (PCO Reds) Can pray for him.
Thanks, Larry Neighbors

As a mother of 3 boys myself, this really hits home!
Many thoughts, prayers, and love for Ian, and many for his family during this very difficult time.

I will keep you posted on what is going on. I can tell you that it doesnt look real good it is only time i think and what the doctors are saying. The team has pulled together and made some posters for him and signed his baseball glove. he is in a coma so the parents are reading everything to him what everybody has written. Yea if it wasnt for the rain we would have been on the ball field playing a tournament at that time.

My family and I send our prayers out for Ian and his family. I have a son very active in baseball as well so it is too close to home. Prayer is very powerful so we'll do all we can from Lawton.

I heard on the evening news that 12 year old Ian Hudson did not survive from his injuries. This is very sad news. Our thoughts and Prayers are with his family in this extremely difficult time.

Yes they pronounced him brain dead today. he is still on the breathing machine so they can look at his organs because they decided that they wanted to donate them so they could help someone else out that needed help. to top it all off before this all happened his father found out that he is loosing his job at the end of the month. thank you for all of the prayers. the baseball team has been getting together so the boys can talk to one another and help each outer out.

My prayers and thoughts go to Ian's family, friends & team-mates.
I have known someone who hit a child w/their car & it destroyed their life.
Because of that & knowing what an accident like this can do to someone, My prayers go to the driver of that truck & their Family.

IMCARACER,
If you want to set something up, I will donate my winnings Friday night to the family and challenge other racers to do what they can also.

My heart and prayers go out to Ian's family and friends. How wonderful and selfless that his family has chosen to donate his organs so that some other family may be spared the grief they are now enduring.
I am also glad that his baseball team has pulled together during this time to help each other through.

That would be great and very helpful. I know that it is hard times right now for everyone to be asking for money but it is for a good cause. it doesnt have to be your whole winning but if everyone could give what they can it will help. Thank you. I will work something out.

I am so so sorry to hear this news! If there is anything I can do to help let me know. Also, I knnow it was an accident but my wife is a lawyer who works on these kinds of cases. If you would like have the family call or email me and I will get them together.

There has been a memorial fund set up. You can go to any IBC bank in the nation and tell them you would like to give money to the Ian Hudson Memorial Fund. Thank you all.
