Sammy was able to take advantage of the right front tire on the No. 11 begins to lose air and takes the lead from Steve using the outside line. Jeff was able to also take Kinser for the 2nd spot in the latter stages behind about a half-straightaway at the Checkers. Sammy wins his 14th WoO A Feature of the season along with his 15th Stroh’s Challenge Cup of the season edging Steve and Jimmy Sills 104 to their 102. With the 3rd place finish, Steve Kinser clinches his 6th WoO Drivers title along with clinching the Owner’s Title for the Kinser Brothers led by Karl. Steve earns the Dodge Truck Ram Tough Challenge for leading 23 laps.
In clinching, Steve leads the season points 7887 over Davis with 7428. Shuman in 3rd with 7266; Allen in 4th with 6949; J. Swindell in 5th with 6884; Sammy in 6th with 6625; Mark Kinser in 7th with 6398; Doty in 8th with 6239; Hodges in 9th with 5144 as Terry Gray rounds out 10th with 5057.
