Hey Kevin, Yes Jake was in the #88 Schankerman family car. We had just received the engine back from USAC/Roush Racing earlier this week so we put it back together and went out to play. You know they took the engine from us after Turkey Night because they felt it needed a detailed inspection. On its return I was informed that the engine was completely legal but they said it was very tired and that we should consider replacing it! It seemed pretty strong to me! Because of a delay at tech, Jake was not given the opportunity to be interviewed. Kind of sucked because because the kid deserved the mic time to dedicated his first Full Focus dirt win to the memory of Jeff Schankerman and to his family. He will get something up on his website really soon. Congratulations on your win too. Pretty awesome.
Thx Chris Swanson

It should have been the Swanson boys 1-2 but that last caution killed Codys chances! Good Job jake, we're proud of you. Cody thought the track was fun, My concern was the flagging. There were some really close calls where somebodt could have been hurt. Oh well, back to work piecing the car back together, she took a few good shots.

I agree with the concern about the flagging. I thought they were really slow to wave the yellow several times during the FF Midget races. The safety of the drivers is more important than the few minutes saved by not throwing the caution flag. JMO

Not trying to second guess the flagman ,but there selfstarting and maybe they won't call it a stop if the yellow doesn't fly....but the lights aren't as visible on the 1/4 so maybe they should throw the yellow...good race though...passing!
