What's happening to Manzy is what could happen here at 'you know where' in the next 10 years. We may have put it to bed last year, but it keeps popping up out here. Greed and stupid insensitive ideas never sleep. Just as soon as the word is spoken, the minds start thinking. They cannot help themselves.

A real Fairgrounds Speedway is an endangered species as tracks go. The CYCLE will turn and one day we will be glad as a whole that OkC still has what others sold for misguided profit. i.e.-Remington Park-subsidized and still went bankrupt. The horse crowd could turn and go somewhere else in a NEW YORK MINUTE. Leaving a beautiful, but EMPTY setting.

We need to be ready with our heels dug in when the corporate greed mindset comes for the Fairgrounds.

There is someone out there with the calling, you don't have to post here if you don't want to. Just follow your sense. A lot of people will miss what they can never have back like it is even now.

Yes, I love the noise of a track nearby, I have one here, had it all my life- Ardmore Raceway. Every Sunday Morning. Sometimes you would hear engines while you were listening to the Preacher at Church.

Set up an E-mail address, get a Facebook account, triangulate all contacts. If you work it, in 3 years the list of friends could be huge.
