Hey guys and gals. I am planning on heading to the bowl Saturday, and I have heard of different routes some people take to get there "Faster". Can any one tell me what these routes might be??
Thanks in advance

south on 35 on the north side of dallas hit 635east it goes around the outskirts of dallas less traffic that away take US 80 east about 4 or five miles exit Lawson rd south a couple of miles and your there!!
winners dont cry when they lose , they go back to the
drawing board and come back for round 2 !

If you can find advance warning of any bad traffic jams or lengthy construction from Denton on south - when you get to Gainesville go east on a highway (not sure the #) and take it all the way out to Sherman/Denison - and then take highway 75 (i think) South - it comes into Dallas on the northeast side through Plano and McKinney - and runs into 635 about 5 miles North of where you get off 635 to go east on Highway 80.
I left west of OKC at near 3pm for this race 2 years ago. And a friend of mine headed that way much sooner from Purcell and said it was the worst jaunt down there he ever took (which as much as he been down means a LOT). but it was so bad even through the Arbuckles and again down around Marietta/Thackerville/Red River that I split east at Ardmore and went all the way to Durant and came down 75. There probably was a better way - but since I knew the way to the Bowl i didnt even take a map (a rare mistake for me - and a costly one that time). It ended up being a 5.5 hour drive and I got to my seat as the first sprint heat was starting. needless to say whether Devils Bowl or Cowtown - I leave a lot sooner nowadays lol.
Since everyone has hotel rooms anyway - its better just to leave and get there extremely early. its better than being caught in a pinch like I was 2 years ago.

CCC the Hwy. east out of Denton is 380, But probably be best to follow Jorkski directions , tried several ways including Hwy. 75 to Belt Line Loop around Garland when 635 was under construction several years in the past and no matter how you go , traffic is everywhere once you get close to the Metroplex .
