the season just got started and Schatz's top 10 streak is already broken! Looks like he's going to have to win every race from here on out if he wants to be last years season. Good run for Jason Meyers, that need needed the win and it vaulted them way up in the standings. Another good run for Steve Kinser and in case you didn't notice he is currently second in points... i'll say it again.. if it wasn't for starting at the back friday at chico and one night at volusia he may have two more victories and be leading the points. Looks like Lasoski will be due for a victory at Tulare next weekend, good run through the field friday and then saturday sets a fast lap qualifying and charges from tenth to battle for the lead. The KKR teams look strong at Chico, if only Dollansky had some luck friday night he may have his first victory of the season. Terrible weekend for Hafertepe and the Fusion Energy team... i'm sure they are glad to be outta chico.
What else did i miss? Anybody that was there i'm sure could add alot more..... I'm just writing from what i read on the websites...

What kind of statement is that???
Not even Steve Kinser could live up to that expectation in his prime. Donny had a couple of off nights. Don't count him out just yet.

I was joking....
Donny went almost the whole 2008 season finishing in the top 10 and now he has not finished in the top 10 already in 2009 and it's only March. I was joking cuz Donny, like every racer, wants to do better than the previous year but his 2008 season is going to be hard to match.

1st off Dude, Schatz don't like Chico at all. 2nd, the only reason Steve and Schatz even finished in the top ten on friday was about 12 cars all went out ahead of them, hell I'm not even sure if they even passed any cars at all! 3rd, Sammy was fast all weekend and had some bad luck. 4th Saldana and Dollanski were really fast too, both having bad luck on different nights. 5th All of the Kaedings did'nt do shit all weekend, Bud was horrible,Brent missed it both nights and Tim, well stepped on it Friday night. 6th, Allard ran well both nights. I'd also like to say watching Wayne Johnson trying to "make" things happen in the back is pretty awesome, along with Hockett.
It was disapointing that after the lightning fast track Friday night, that On Saturday it was rubber down early in the dash! Oh well, it was still a great show and it was nice to see the Outlaws back at the Mini!
Oh and I'd like to throw a "shout" out to the Dude for standing on the gas too.
The older I get, the faster I used to be.

Dude fan....
You need to pay a little more attention....Donny won the first WoO race at Volusia...which counts as a top ten....

I thought that the 14 car heat races were too much for a 1/4 mi. The weekend then became too dependent on the pill draw. I can't harp enough on the need for qualifier type races and passing points. I know the purists hate it but these cars are so locked down that it is impossible to advance more than one row in your heat without some type of mishap. If you want TT's fine but WoO needs to patent a formula that rewards the guy who moves up the most on the racetrack. What was the Dude's reward for quick time. Starting fourth in a heat that took two to the dash with Steve Kinser and Kerry Madsen in front of him. They ought to give an award to the guy that times in 16th because he is the one that gets the best set the rest of the evening. I like the way TMAC does it at the FRC king of the hill. Just my opinion
More weight, more regulation, more similarity in the
cars.... that will ensure plenty of thrills for years
to come. Only the most average talent behind the
wheel will be needed with such awesome equipment on
the track!

you interpreted it wrong.... Donny HAS finished in the top in all the races in 2009 EXCEPT this past Saturday at the Mini Gold... which means... he has finished in the top ten in ALL of the races contested this year for the WoO EXCEPT Saturday's race. Therefore... his streak of top 10 finishes is broken.

Good to see Meyers had a great weekend. He's prolly my favorite driver to talk to in the WoO pits, real good guy with fans. Here's to the King who lookes poised on regaining his thrown! What happened to Sammy on Sat.?
Hope the Cali. guys and Haud do better at Tulare. I've never heard of that track slicking off or taking rubber before. Anyone know if Brad Sweet will be there?

Lasoskis Reward for quicktime is 5 Points in the standings AND a guarentee into the dash if he qualifies for the A main in his heat...i do agree that 4 heats is kind of rediculous for that amount of cars...i believe that that if there is 40-49 cars there should be 4 heats and 50-59 cars 5 heats and so on...i agree something needs to be done though as far as passing points...how about passing points and invert the top 6 instead of 4...i think that would make for a great show...

As they say, "if its and buts was candy and nuts what a merry christmas we'd all have". Personally, I think the 15 is done, he ran out of luck and it showed in Cali, the other cars and drivers have swept him by, he might be in the ASCS by mid May Or, maybe he'll win the next three races IF he can.
Adding $6 trillion of debt in his 1st term and now if
elected again he wouldn't have to worry about an
electorate in 2016 so the sky is the limit. And his EPA
would continue to put the screws to oil drilling and
mining for coal. Can you say bankruptcy.

All i can say is, man, you had better be prepared to eat those words.... Let's see. The WoO season is 5 races old and you've already decided that Donny is done?
Exactly what are you smoking?
And get this - I'm not a big Donny fan; but I believe that his performance over the past three years speaks for itself. And while you can't win them all, I still think Schatz is one of the top three, if not the best, when it comes to chasing and competing for the WoO title.
