WOW, that guy is in for a long year. He is a hell of a driver. Has to be sickening for him to start on the pole and have a great chance to win opening day. I wonder what the problem was, i know pat is alot better than that.

this was an extremely fast track and he is not ready for that yet in a 410 was great in a 358 but the class is different. won one last year but started on pole. was lapped in the williams grove national last year and only made one race at Volusia this year. he has some laps to do before he makes a great apearance in the 410

What do you expect when you're owner thinks the end-all-be-all solution to winning is having unlimited $$$. Pat doesn't have half the team behind him that he did with Highlands. I'd be surprised is that team is still intact at the end of the year.

Um, the results I read listed him as finishing 4th. That's bad? I guess I'm lost on this one.

The 2008 410 RoY poll is a joke. A bunch of uneducated fools must vote on that one. Giving the award to someone who ran only 11 races is preposterous.

Yeah he only ran 11 races, he won 1 at one of the most prestigious trcks in the country. there are alot of guys who ran their entire career and didn't win a race, especially at williams grove. the guy deserves credit for being a quality driver. running 4th is great if you start 10th, all i am saying is he had two shots from the pole and couldn't get it done, and i don't think it was the driver.

No doubt Pat is a quality driver. Still didn't deserve to even be up for the award though. Westbrook smoked Pat in RoY at Williams Grove and won there as well as Port, often running double duty in the 358s. Unfortunately, technicalities kept John from being eligible because he ran 2 410 races a few years ago.
Polls that place a driver in the top 25 despite not having a single top 5 finish all year lack any credibility IMO.

Definitely a joke when the buddy system is used to vote on anything. I think for sure the criteria should change. This is alot like the AP footall poll. NOT VERY ACCURATE!

Pat will be just fine in the 17. Like Rahmer says "daytime racing don't mean shit. Wait till the night races start and we will see who has what". As far as Fl. It is a new team and not everyone is fast right out of the box with a new team. We will see if it was car or driver when Ott starts running the Highland car.

Was running seventh in the heat, thankfully two cars crashed out ahead of him to get him in the show. Started in the back and stayed there battling with guys who shouldn't even be racing. All the money and equipment can't help this talented young man without someone who knows how to work on the car. Hopefully he can find a ride with someone who wants to win before he loses confidence in his ability. Good luck Pat you will need it if Mr Keen don't hire a crew chief who knows something.

If there is a crew chief, what is his name, what has he done?
