Rickie put a slider in Dustin Morgan in Turn Two on Lap Five and led the rest of the way save for a momentary exchange with Brad Sweet who tailed him closely most of the way.
Jerry Coons Jr. won in the B; with Tyler Brown behind him.
Riverside's Darren Hagen won the midget A Main from 23rd position on the grid; Tracey Hines looked like he had it sewed up but Darren nipped him in the final turns. Cole Whitt was 3rd, Brad Sweet 4th, Brian Clausen 5th. Danny Sheridan ran well in early laps but faded around half-way..
Track conditions were very dry owing to a fairly stiff breeze out of the north. Ray re-watered twice. The stands were about 2/3s full. Hopefully, Don was able to make the purse and expenses.

Congratulations to Super Rickie! Great win for the hometown team. His interview with Chris Holt was vintage Gaunt. Holt chided him in an earlier interview for driving a girl's (owner and driver Nadine Gardner) car.

I can see where the topic title led you a little astray. My meaning was that Gaunt was the only regular CRA driver in the top 12. I set that up in the early am hours here so sorry the title wasn't more clear.

We can't help it that when our guys go back and kick ass in the midwest they stay there and keep racing and kicking ass. They come back home to visit sometimes. Thank God for that! What a great show!!
