does anyone know for sure who was in the chopper that landed twice inside turn2 at Manzy?Windbag was so busy flapping his jaws that he didn't even know it landed

I don't know Rob, because we didn't make it, but was wondering how the crowds were for both nights?

We don't know for sure but have to think it was Tony Stewart. It would be a 35-40 min flight from Cali to Phx. Then on the chopper for a min. We were too tired to stroll the pits on Saturday so don't know for sure. Saturday night crowd was decent. Perris here we come...

Tony Stewart and Donny Schatz were in 1 of the helicopters and Cruz Pedregon was in the other.

my point was why was the fact that a chopper lands inside turn 2 and nobody even mentioned that it was there it was like they didn't even notice it had landed But then again I've learned to expect that from the windbag as he rarely knows whats going on around him.

You know I think he was already at Manzy when I arrived in Phoenix the first time in 57 from Torrance,58 for sure. I tried to get him to move to Cali with me when I went back in 63 to start high school..LOL
Man were those some good years, in both places..
