I know this is an open wheel forum, but I do need to say, as a race fan, to see 22 Super Late models take the green and blast into turn one, a dozen wrecks that don't happen and the wheel standing stock cars is as awesome a spectacle as there is!  430+ cubic inches and 2000 lb cars are just a tick under sprint car speeds but run so hard and side by side, it is a spectacle...

If anyone has an opportunity to watch these drivers at SMS, come do it.  You'll love it and you'll have a great time.  It is where I'll be when the Bandito's are off!  Come say hi!

I understand Robin, but still, very spectacular!  I loves da racin' bro...I grew up at SMS where there was always a healthy mix of stock cars and open wheels (both winged and non-winged and USAC/BCRA Midgets).  My driving experience was mostly with Stock Cars but two seasons with DIRT style modifieds (Bill Floyd, Cory Kruseman, Mark Nation and Brad Noffsinger drove 'em too just to name a few you might know).  Our weekly shows were Open Wheel (sprint cars with some Super Modifieds) with Late-Models and the ever loving Hobby Stocks...which I drove off and on from '79 through the early 90's...

So I dig it all!
