It has be decided to increase the max valve lift to .620 form the .555 . The reason is in order to accommodate the roller cam option , a cam would have to be special ground and the cost is much greater then a shelf stock cam. In the best interest of keeping the cost down and readily available to any home engine builders this is the reason. The impact on the valve train will be very little as this is .075 increase. and according to Bryan Woodke of L.L. Woodke Engine expected horse power increase will be less than 20. A stock rocker arm RATIO of 1.50 must be used also. Any question you can call e-mail me
Joe

Did you factor in shrinkage after it hits 26 below tonight? Stay warm Joe. Hope North Country Builders doesn't have to work outside in this cold s#@t.
