I hope Barry will help more than he did Joey.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

You are an idiot. Although it is always nice to have a good "wingman". Definition per www.urbandictionary.com
Wingman |
|
|
Wingman A Wingman is a guy you bring along with you on singles outings (like to bars) that helps you out with the women.
Typically in these ways : • The Wingman will always be there to “occupy” least attractive girl of the pair so that you may engage in the “hotty” • Often, when an attractive girl is out with an ugly friend, she often feels restricted to not leave that ugly friend alone, thus making the hot girl, un-touchable. • When the wingman technique is used, both girls are approached by the men, and the Wingman automatically engages in conversation with the ugly girl. • Now that the hot friend sees that the ugly girl has finally found a man, she is now free to start scouting. • This is where you come in “unexpectidly” and “accidentaly”, and begin catching up on “old times” with the Wingman. • The Wingman then offers the ugly girl to dance, (which rarely happens to her) so she wont be able to resist.
Two situations may arise: 1.) She tells her hot friend to come along, in which you automatically MUST be invited, since you know the Wingman, and have already been introduced to the hotty. 2.) They go dance, leaving you and the hotty in for some solid face time. • At the end of the night, after you have worked your magic, the Wingman, AND ONLY THE WINGMAN, offers the girls to comeback to his place for a little ‘after party’. • Once everyone arrives, the Wingman “occupies” the ugly girl IN ANOTHER ROOM, leaving yourself and the sweet sweet little hotty alone so that you can bang her, bang her like a drum....

Lasoski Joins Parsons Motorsports
Danny Lasoski and Parsons Motorsports have joined forces to battle for the 2009 World of Outlaws Series championship.
Lonnie Parsons and the No. 6 Casey’s General Store car has long been a staple on the Outlaw tour and Lasoski behind the wheel may be just what Parsons was looking for.
“We were looking for a driver that would be a threat to win on any given night, at any given track," Parsons said. "Don (Lamberti) and I agreed that Danny is the guy we are looking for. Danny and I have been friends for a long time, probably since he drove for Max Rogers at Knoxville (1986). We’ve had a lot of good drivers in the 6 car, but we never really seemed to find the right combination and we were left searching for a situation to where we can win more races. I think Danny is one of the top drivers out there and we’re putting together the right pieces to win."
Lasoski is no stranger to victory lane with over 370 career victories, 81 of those with the World of Outlaws. A year off of the World of Outlaws trail in 2008 netted Lasoski his record setting eighth Knoxville Track Championship along with collecting 10 wins during the season. “The Dude” from Dover, MO hopes to add to those totals in 2009 with Parsons Motorsports.
“I am very excited to be teaming up with Lonnie Parsons and Don Lamberti with Casey’s General Stores," Lasoski said. "First of all, I appreciate the opportunity to represent Parsons Motorsports and Casey’s General Stores on the World of Outlaws tour. Lonnie always has great equipment and knows what it takes to win with the Outlaws."
“I ended up spending the year off the tour in ’08 to race at Knoxville Raceway. Don’t get me wrong Knoxville was great. Racing at home and spend time with many old friends was a nice change of pace. But when the Outlaws came to town and then left…I was lost. I felt out of my element by staying put when they left town. I’m not ready to hang up my helmet by any means, and if you want to be the best you have to race with the best. We are putting together a real solid team to do just that and I’m confident that we will win races together. I can’t wait to get to the track to show them what we can do."
The Parsons Motorsports, Casey’s General Stores No. 6 will be using JEI Chassis with Kistler Engines providing the horsepower and Hoosier tires with the grip, a combination that Lasoski is very familiar with. Chris Straight will be staying with the team as a crew member and the addition of Barry Jackson, founder of JEI Chassis, coming aboard to serve as crew chief for the team will serve as an experienced resource to make the team even stronger.
The team will be debuting at Florida Speedweeks in February.
Long Live 20 Time World Of Outlaws Champion Steve

From what I have been asked to do the answer is no. The look of the #6 will be the same for 2009. I will be lobbying for for a special nationals car though.

The Artic Cat deal was just for the nationals this year. They were talking about the possibility of something in 09, but the two could not come to an agreement.

How will Barry be able to build cars at JEI if he is busy running a WoO team? Isn't that gonna be a conflict of interest? Especially to the other people that are currently or going to be running his cars?
Also, Chris Striaght was the crew-chief the past two years for Parsons, but now he is being de-moted so that Barry can come in and run the show? To me, that indicates that Shafer and McMahan weren't getting the best car possible every night if Straight wasn't qualified to be the crew-chief for Lasoski, I just hope that Parsons and Lamberti keep a close eye on the team and its resources as the season rolls on. Parson's is a nice guy and truly loves racing. I just hope he gets what he wants out of this, as you can't really compare the coming year to the past couple because of how much he is catering to this driver, and how the past other drivers just had what they had.
