They're making it kinda hard to justify spending any money on their broadcast or lack there of

i used it pretty much trouble free last year. on tues i got on the audio room useing my cell phone to connect from LAX airport. last night i could not get DV page to load. tonight it took forever to get DV page to load. then forever for cyber page or audio page to come up. when they did it took forever for chat scroll to come up then i still had no audio player buttons. only blank white space where player should be on audio page and same for where video should be on cyber page. i defended dirtvision last year and still understand that at times not everyone is going to have perfect service. but if this is a bandwidth issue they need to resolve it while they have a chance to still draw users. you would think that this year they would have known there would be a high demand.

I personally believe that it was a server bandwidth problem. With all the fans trying to take advantage of the free preview it overloaded (just like it did last year for the Preview).

I watched tonight's Cybercast virtually trouble free until it blanked out for everyone at lap 15 or so, like fastasu says. I was then listening to DRN without a problem and during the lap 27 yellow the Cyber came back and we saw the last 3 laps of a terrific race and the victory lane interview with TK.

The rest of the week, and season, will be subscription and I seriously doubt there will be any bandwidth problems for the paying customers.

I was a season pass holder last year and the problems were minimal.

Unfortunately I was an excited idiot and signed up Wed. thinking I would be able to watch the archive events which I couldn't.  Maybe with less people watching tonight it will work better.  I'll let you know.

Ain't it amazing how many folks complain about a "FREE" loaf of bread?

Chicofan's probably got it right - it's most likely all about bandwidth.......

I believe they (Dirtvision) will get it right. They are taking this pretty seriously and I have heard they are upgrading some of their equipment real soon.

Maybe they should offer another free night once they get the bugs worked out.

I have signed up every year with hopes that it would get better, but as in last nights A feature, that just doesn't seem to be the case and it's not just the cybercast. Last night I couldn't even get back on to get the broadcast during the A feature and I do have high speed internet.

The word from DV down here is that they think there was someone hacking in with a virus, but I don't know if they ever nailed that down for sure. Bandwidth is always a problem and live video technology over the internet is still in its infant stages worldwide...so please be patient and be happy they are trying to provide this service to us fans. It will get better and they have a good crew of people working on it.

I paid them enough last year for no service and no return emails, thank you. Would love to listen/watch (and I did last night until the signal quit) but I can save $19.95 the next three nights for the same nonservice/nonresponse.

I just paid the $$ tonight, and can't get in. Only reason I did was for these few races. If this don't get fixed, I hope they intend to make it right with us.

Yeah thats all good and fun Swamp and we all know what they are trying to do but bottom line is they are charging for a product that obviously is not able to be provided by them.

So far luckily I have not lost video or audio and I know its only a matter of time till it probably goes but I know a lot of people that paid $19.99 to watch all three nights and cannot get squat.

I wonder what their excuse would be if they were reported to the Better Business Bureau

Was hooked up for over 3 hrs last night on DV, besides the Mods everything worked great all night. Some took 5 to 10 min to get on but that was it. Better then just reading or hearing a race on radio.

With tons of people trying to log on to a free DV, no wonder why people could not get it. They probably had a bandwith problem, which there new equipment will handle.
