Do we have to suffer through Shane Andrews and Sarah Hunt again this year? Simply horrible duo. Sean Buckley could mop either of them up in a heartbeat. He was a "real" sprint car guy who understood the fans. Please, please, please no more Shane Andrews, Sarah Hunt or Ken Stout... we need knowledgable sprint car announcers.
Cheers!

How can anybody stand that Shane Andrews guy along with that ding-bat Sarah Hunt. I sorely miss Buckley! He was great with the drivers and really lended a fan's perspective to the broadcast IMO.
Trophy Cup......Best race of the year hands down!

Tony Bokhoven is covering the pits for the Sprint Cars.
Shane Andrews is announcing the Late Models, & Sara Jane Hunt is covering the pits for the Late Models.

Good Tony does a real good job as well. I'll just turn down the volume when the late-models come on then. That solves my problems then

My wife and I enjoyed the races last night but she couldn't believe how poor of speaker Sara Hunt is. Speed needs to replace her.

Same old same old. I thought the late models put on a great show--always a battle going on some where in the top 5. Then the sprint cars came out and followed each other around----on the same track. Does the WoO do anything about the follow the leader and trying to loosen the cars up thing? Not really but the ticket prices continue to go up and the quality of racing continues to go down. The cars hardly slide through the corners any more. If you want to see some racing watch www.racewayvideo.com of the oval nationals. That is what a sprint car race is supposed to look like. I have went to WoO races for 26 years but no more. Until I see some better racing from the winged 410`s forget it--It appears to me the fan dont matter any more.

At least Sarah's voice doesn't sound like 2 blackboards mating anymore.

kmart, great thoughts, I completely agree with you; although I was recently taken to task recently as being "clueless" when I voiced much of the same.

Bokhoven is a hack. He seems as though he would be good for Trading Spaces...
The WoO these days are nothing but a high speed freight train. It can hardly be called racing.
