Noticed Tony Bruce Jr competed last night at the STN's and is locked into the Saturday finale. Anyone know what his plans are for Saturday? WoO in Topeka or STN's?

From what I hear, because he is locked into the STN's, he is staying there and running that race. He is 14th in WoO points and could drop to 15th but that is all the lower so it isn't a big in in WoO points or points $$$. I was told the rumor in Little Rock is that there may be a couple of others there as well.....we will see....hope not as I will be in Topeka.

I would rather watch a small field of 24 WOO cars than 100 360's. With the WOO race, you are seeing the best drivers in the world.

ummm, the STN has Danny Lasoski, Gary Wright, Jason Johnson, Wayne Johnson, Dale Blaney, Tim Shaffer, Terry Gray, Tim Crawley, Brian Brown, Greg Wilson... I'd say that's just as much a quality field as the WoO race, oh AND there's 4 times as many cars.

360's ...... great support class for 410's. We will see several ASCS drivers in the WOO someday.
ASCA is sort of like the Nationwide series to Cup. Yes, the Cup guys run the Nationwide series once in a while but they know where the money and the top racing is.

i agree. i would be at STN in a heart beat. that doesn't sound like a bunch of no name rookies to me. i bet there are more lead changes at STN then at Topeka.

Oakland- You need to wake up see reality. Some of the best racing out there is 360 racing. Having the best drivers in the world at an event doesn't mean it's going to be the best racing available. In (2) qualifying heats, you will probably the same amount of passes at a WoO event.
Next year, you will probably see less 410 cars and more 360 cars. WoO series are probably crossing their fingers and praying for next year..

apparently you have never been to the STN. That is one hell of a show on one hell of a fast neat track. I would rather go there over ANY WoO show anyday. But then again you compared sprint cars to NASCAR so i guess that shows what kind of person you are. Stay home and enjoy the Sunday NAPFEST!!!
do it in the dirt

Nothing against the Outlaws at all but if I was not working this weekend, I would drive from Chicago to Little Rock in heart beat! The STN's is only place to be this weekend hands down. Anyone who has ever been there for this event would agree for sure.

WRGI closed at 2 cents on friday. I don't think Uncle Sam can save them with a bail out.

Your forgetting about the best paying winged 360 sprint car show in the entire country if not world, the Trophy Cup at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, CA. Tons of cars and great, great action. Next year Trophy Cup and STN need to be on different weekends so every fan and racer who wants to be at both can.
Cheers!

LOL.... you still havent figured out much have you? You live in Oakland and your not over at Tulare watching their best show of the year, the Trophy Cup. You made sure to tell everyone about your Outlaw shows you were attending but you missed the best sprint car show in the state.
Cheers!

Looks like the 18 will improve on its finishing spot. I realize Tony won a race this year but when you look at the averages it aint so good. Droud will definitely be in the top half.
Cheers!

"With the WOO you are seeing the best drivers in the world." OR maybe you could say you are seeing the best funded drivers in the world!
