we have a local sign guy that has produced some "one off" season ending trophies , althought the trophies independently took some time to complete, the Personal touch of each competitors scaled car and the finishing points positions were killer! , by far the best I have seen !,
Im pretty sure this is not the same "craftsman" you are referring to, but I know of this particular individuals work, let me do some research with him, and get back to you possibly

The guy in fremont was my grandpa, Don Linton. Unfortunately he died about a year ago. He did cars for 50 or 60 drivers including Kemenah, Dewease, Reed and a lot of the Ohio guys. He did amazing work with help from Banshee Graphics and CK Customs. Some of them looked better than the ones the die cast companies put out.
There was a guy in PA who did them, but I cant think of his website right now.

I was that guy and our company has produced over 300 die cast sprint cars and over 1000 other dirt and ashphalt cars in the 5 years we have been dealing in these custom creations.
When we used to produce the 1:18 scale sprint cars, they were a 100 peice kit that had to be assembled but could have custom chassis colors. Now a new company has bought the rights to this kit that GMP used to offer and now only sell them as assembled cars with black chassis. We are also capable to offer a 1:25 scale version as well.
Our website is currently being revamped and will have many more photos on it soon to be posted.
Some of the cars we have produced are: Donny Schatz, Danny Lasoski, Mark Dobmeier, Skip Jackson, Natalie Sather and many others.
Our contact information is: www.projectxracecards.com and the email is [email protected] and phone is 701 520 9069
Thank you,
Derek Pollock
