I am soo happy to say that this is the first year I won't be sitting in the bleachersfor Gold Cup!!! I am excited to be sitting in the 1st row of the Grandstands! I also realized I should have booked the hotel/motel a long time ago because now there isn't anything available. So far the only thing left is Motel 6 with one bed, lol! My family will be staying in style, ha ha! We just go to the final night of Gold Cup, but I am still soo excited 
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!
Winged sprintcars = the fastest and most exciting
racecars on dirt!

I'd love to stay at the Oxford Suites, but it is a a little over our budget especially because my new job is an unpaid one, lol! We are pretty use to staying at Motel 6 so it's ok

Be warned that the first row of the grandstands can sometimes be a painful place to be. I sat there for gold cup '96 and after the track dried out we got pelted. Still an awesome show but it can be distracting

I am still not sure if we are going to bring the little one yet. I am sure anywhere in the Grandstands is better than the blechers. I expect it to be dusty, but hopefully not too many dirt clods!

sprintcarkelly ive sat in first row of grandstands for last four years great seats. just my opinion dont sit there for hotlaps if you go that early you will be picking clay out of your beer and clothes all night. After hotlaps your good to go.
