With the announcement that Hilltop has closed, will the All Star race scheduled there on 8/31 still be held or is it canceled? It's still listed on the All Star website's schedule.

I still update the All Star web site - and as of now I have not been told to take it off the schedule. Also, I have no idea if the track is going to open for this race or not. I just add/remove as instructed.

Trust me when I say plan on not having a race. I've heard the "owner" got into some debt trouble and is now in the process of losing the track amongst other things. If it's fresh in the court system it'd be tough for the courts to allow a race by either owner.

I guess I can forget about the $200 that Hilltop owes me then? It figures.
Wayne County Speedway owes me $200, too. Both were for services rendered for 2007 & 2008 Ohio Speedweek. I can't tolerate people who won't pay their bills.

Not sure how that'll work out for ya. Hope you had something in writing. If not, Shame on you for not. I'd always do something in writing with WCS.

I understand completely.
No matter how hard you work and try to do things for racing, some folks just don't think your time is worth anything.

Swamp, you should know better. If I was dealing with WCS, I would demand money up front. Good Luck to ya.
