I'm gonna guess around 50. About half of Lasoski wins, some with McCarl, and several others.
Another good question is how many drivers has he had? Who can name them.

Are you including when Guy was driving a different car also?
As for Drivers
Dud - - - - How many rides has Dud had a burn the bridge?
McCarl
Jeff Sheppard
The Wild Child
Sammy
Walker
Jeff M
That is all I can remember right now. I know I will think of some later.

Yes, Jeff was in Forbrooks car with Wirtgen sponsorship for a full or most of an Outlaw season. I believe it was 2001 and he was R-O-Y with the Outlaws.

Lasoski, Jac, Richert, McCarl, Herrera, Swindell, Lindquist
201 total
add Berkner, Hodnett, Shepard, Walker, Tatnell, W. Johnson

Mitrisin won at Oskaloosa back in like 2002 or 2003. That might be his last 410 win.

I wonder if guy would not be better off with just being a crew chief for one of the outlaw team?

Unknown to some (or most?), the Flying Shoe was hired to drive the Forbrook 5 in '91 when Danny departed to Casey Luna's team. Shuman didn't qualify the best, but started mid-pack in the B Saturday and almost made it into the show (was 5th). This might've been Ron's last winged ride... some Shuman fans might know??

More from Kevin Eckert's gem Open Wheel Times - 1994 was turbulent - Keith Kauffman, Stevie Smith, Bobby Davis Jr, and Stevie Smith all drove it as well as Herrera, McCarl, and Shep.
Also, PJ Chesson (V12, April K'ville WoO show in 2000), Blake Feese (a few times in 2003), and Solwold ('04 Dirt Cup at Skagit).
Love or hate Guy, the list of drivers on this thread is pretty impressive...

I think I remember Joe Gaerte driving it for ONE weekend in May in the early '90's? He was in it at Huset's that Sunday and I assume at Knoxville the night before??

I remember back in the day Terry McCarl wrecked the 5 car at Husets and then was selling t-shirts after the races for half price. He didn't think he still had a ride but he was in it for a while after that.

I remember what I think was the first time Walker ever drove for Guy. It was at Calvert City, Ky. in May of 2000 in the V12 car. Hodnett had just got injured and would have sit out a few races. In the featch that night Tyler got into a tangle on the initial start bending a corner of his wing but kept going. He wound up second that night to The King and was gaining on him some in the final laps bent wing and all. It was a quite a performance.

I don't know Guy Forbrook, but I certainly admire him for what he has accomplished. He has done more from a wheelchair than most others that do not have his challenges. It puzzles me how people can bad mouth him. I hope he keeps winning.

Jerry Rickert Jr. Also drove the #5 the same year Berkner did but at the time Berkner and JR JR drove it the car was owned by Ron Kohls of Redwood Falls I believe and then Guy bought the team outright that following year from Ron.
