A Main Line up
A Main Line up
73 Ford - 14 Westfall 71 Whitt - 07 Kuhn 1st Cottle - 99 Bacon 20 Jones - 0 Buckwalter 32 Ray - 9 Darland 4 East - 17 Windom 05 Loyet - 21 Hines 47 Clauson - 11 Coons 30 Boat - 8 Ehrgott 1h Hagen - 5f Stratton 73x Shuman - 49 Sweet (PS I know nobody cares, but Schatz has set fast time for Knoxville tonight, Dude 2nd, not a bold statement, but with there format, I'm pretty sure Schatz is gonna win another Nationals with his speed on that track. I went last here after hearing all the hype, and for me that's all there was. I knew Schatz was gonna win the whole thing after qualifying last year. (edit) Opps Donny didn't transfer in his heat and is in the semi, guess he is gonna have to race for it this year. Now at Eldora, everyone must go there once in your life, wing or non wing, that place is for the brave. Just happy we have the Oval Nationals out here, and for the wingers I here the Gold Cup and Trophy Cup are pretty cool.) But this midget sprint week looks pretty cool. When is there gonna be a Non wing CA sprint week or (or two week), we got enough good tracks around here, Fall would be perfect when the USAC National guys are not racing so much. Or even a West Coast Tour (Vegas, Manzy, Perris, Ventura, Tulare, Bakersfield, Santa Maria, Hanford etc.). The weather is good, the fans are not on vacation, the racers like to race. Promoters like to make money. In Indiana you have to get there by 5 just to get a seat at some of the tracks.

Not gas city but Knoxville if you can believe it in a heat race tonight. I think everyone is alright. Sounds like a wild night there tonight.

Dave Darland wins another Sprint feature tonight at Gas City.
He's on fire back there now. (I'm not sure which car he drove though) but he will definitely be a big threat at the Oval Nationals if he is driving for Benic!
Night everyone.
