Week 20 results of the Open League (8-1) lots of ties unfortunately - but SFSfan broke the curse.
1. SFSfan - 19 1. Team 27 - 19 2. OKCFan12 - 21 2. B Squared - 21 2. Uncle A - 21 6. OKCpop11x - 25 7. David Jones - 27 8. Christina - 31 8. Blu20qt - 31 10. Bandit 19 - 32 11. Wing Nuts - 33 11. miSan Racing - 33 13. Sprints Rock - 34 13. Sen. Sprint Car - 34 15. Dan Fan - 35 15. Drifters - 35 17. Wescoe - 36 17. Airflow Racing - 36 19. Lil Dirt Princess - 37 20. Dirt Dale - 42 21. Sonic Blu12 - 44
thank you to all who played this week. those who didnt - i hope we have you back or play for the first time next week. so many ties kind of stink. but they all happened in different ways. just one of them crazy nights it looks like. hard to believe there are only 4 race weekends left (and then winter nationals).
so as ya'll see - owens DQ went far to change the standings. quite a ways. well any matter - they are corrected. here are your open leaguye results from 8-1 up above. and i hope ya'l still pick in this league this week. sincerely - CA

Ever consider breaking ties by using the backup picks total points? Even if the backup became the primary pick, you could still use the same finishing spot. Just a thought.

ya know - that aint a half bad idea. especially for the open league - the official league we use the overall pts - with the head to head matches - which works well.
but that may really work well for this open league. doubt we should try it this week since race time is under a day away. but that may be something worth trying in the weeks to come. i'll fiddle with it and weigh details of it. thanks for floating that out there for this league tho. thats a pretty logical way to solve the ties in the open league.
i had been playing with the idea of a tournament before the season was over - but it really is too late now. i think what i may be do instead for the open league is just - still score it weekly - but keep an overall standings -just of accumalated points of course. i'll think on all this stuff. any time ya'll have ideas and stuff ------- float em on out there. i like hearing em as well as feedback. thanks Bandit19.
