Sprint Invaders begin “County Fair Season”
Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders set to Invade the Lee County Fair on July 11th
Donnellson, Iowa - For some of the Sprint Invaders, it will be their first trip to the Lee County facility for the 2008 season, while several of the Invader regulars made the trip to run with the WOW series in June.
Last year’s Fair race saw veteran Larry Pinegar II in Victory Lane in a borrowed car, as he overtook Californian Adam Main in a wild series of events on lap 20 of the First Community Bank of Keokuk 25 lap A-Main. Matt Sutton finished in 2nd followed by Jerrod Hull, Nick Eastin and Kaley Gharst. John Schulz, Bobby Mincer, Josh Schneiderman, Matt Rogerson and Korey Weyant rounded out the top ten.
HOG GIVEAWAY…
In keeping with the “2008 Year of the Fan” theme… The Invaders will be giving away a hog and will also include the cost of processing. The lucky fan will just have to go to the locker and pick up the Iowa fed, home grown pork.processed at the Wever Locker Plant.
