I got a serious issue with a 99 Eldorado 4.6 liter. Fuel rail leak. Can't seem to find anyone that can get me the correct rail. Any insight will be appreciated. Dealer is being noncooperative in resolving this issue. I should'a known better than to take in a caddy in the first place.

Is this a damn racing forum or a auto-tech training class????

Just kidding with ya. That gm product with a fuel leak probably runs better than those fords.

I, believe it or not have the solution, a Stick-up Air Freshener, a bottle of Armour All, and a For Sale sign.

If it was a ford it wouldn't have this problem in the first place.

Ok, I finally talked to a smart guy on the tech assist hotline. Got it all figured out and i feel kinda stupid now. Just wish they would put bulletins in the box with the revised parts from now on. Sure would save on some frustration and time.

Yeah, stainless replacing a nylon tube style. But I got it figured out and alls good now. Couldn't post friday for some reason.

Thanks Larry. I thought about callin em over there. I've sent some caddies there before in the past. This resolve was too easy to be so damn hard. I waisted two days lookin at it til I called a guy on the tech line. He let me go thru the whole story and then laughed at me and told me what to do. I felt pretty dumb. Live and learn tho.
